Dr. Mathers has advanced training in agricultural statistics, plant physiology and plant biochemistry, including plant growth regulators (PGRs). She has distinguished herself in cold stress physiology of woody plants, plant nutrition, plant diagnostics, and traditional and bio-weed controls in horticultural crops. With her extensive experience regarding weed growth impacts on horticultural crops, herbicide chemistry, plant physiology and stress physiology, Dr. Mathers is an excellent choice for any case involving weeds, herbicide drift, chemical misapplications, herbicide persistence, chemical phytotoxicity and cold injury to horticultural plants.
Expert witness activities include site visit, report writing, writing questions for deposition of opposing experts, depositions, testifying, affidavits, and other tasks as required by lawyers. 2015 to Oct. 2021, I have been/or am currently involved in 39 cases, with an avearge of 5 per year. 11 of 38 are on-going.
